Simple peppercorn butter sauce perfect for steak!
This easy peppercorn steak sauce is made from simple ingredients and is not only delicious on steak but really nice on chicken or roasted vegetables.
Grocery Tip
Make sure you are using fresh cracked peppercorn for this recipe because the flavour is a lot better then table pepper. You could essentially use regular table pepper, I find the flavour does not develop the same as when I use fresh cracked peppercorn.
What is peppercorn vs pepper?
Essentially the same thing. Black pepper comes from a vine called Piper Nigrum, it develops berries called peppercorns. Those berries are dried out into peppercorn, which is the same as black pepper just in dried berry form.
